Since moving to Pine Mountain Club in 2019, I've been deeply involved in the community. Recognizing the need for greater transparency, fiscal responsibility, organizational management, and compliance with best practices, I am committed to rebuilding trust while ensuring members have a voice. My top priorities include fire abatement, emergency preparedness, and the proper, ongoing maintenance of community assets. As Chair of the Planning Committee, my intention is and has been to be of service to the community while fostering an environment that encourages open discussion and the incorporation of member feedback. With a BA in Finance, Real Estate, and Business Law from Cal Poly Pomona, It would be an honor to serve on the Board and contribute to a united, thriving PMC.
For over five years, my family and I have proudly called Pine Mountain Club home. As Vice Chair of the Planning Committee and Chair of the Bear Ad-Hoc Committee, I've worked to address member needs and support community-driven initiatives. I have valued volunteer work in the community since moving here, shoveling snow as needed, delivering pellets and providing bear watch help. I have my master's degree in Social Welfare from UCLA and offer 15 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, bringing strong leadership, advocacy, and ethical problem-solving skills. I am committed to fostering transparency, open communication, and fiscal responsibility to enhance the quality of life for all residents.
I am excited to bring my 25+ years of architectural experience to support Pine Mountain Club, focusing on families, our aging population, transparency, and fiscal responsibility. Since 2020, I've served on the EC Committee while raising my two children here. With expertise in project management and cost control, I aim to ensure community projects align with resident preferences and budgets. Originally from Germany, I value a balanced, fact-based approach and am committed to helping PMC thrive.
Hello members,
I am running for a one year term for a seat as a board member pending the upcoming recall. I've been a member of this community since 2013 and a full-time resident since 2015, after retiring from the U.S. Military. My aim if I am elected, is to keep PMC affordable while fostering open communication with the community. We need transparency about where our money is being spent and accountability. I believe we need to use association resources in a way that is equitable for all members. Also, members should have the right to vote on big decisions that affect us all. (Read More)
Like many of you, I have questions in regards to what is happening with our association. Questions like: why are we hiring contractors that failed to deliver on their NTE contracts over and over again? Why wasn't there two streams of accounting data being run simultaneously while trying to move over to a new accounting system? Why was nobody held responsible time and time again for these major mistakes? Why has there been such a pushback on giving the members a vote on these major decisions like clubhouse renovations? Etc…
I think I would be a good fit to serve my community as a board member. During my time in the military serving both in the Air Force and the Coast Guard I facilitated many missions including drug operations, migrant interdiction, rescues and myriad of other challenging military operations. As a Food Service Officer, I successfully managed food procurement, planning and implementation of hundreds of thousands of dollars of resources monthly all while keeping accurate accounting. I know what it takes to run things efficiently, whether it be dangerous rescues, construction projects in classified areas or military dining facilities serving hundreds of people per meal.
A vote for me means a vote for your voice to be heard.

Hello members,
This election is about YOUR money! Not the Chairman, not the Association's. Your money and the members' voices will be heard. The issue of a new clubhouse has been kicked around for decades; every time the Members respond with a loud and clear NO! For transparency, I was on the BOD when the first iteration of the clubhouse was proposed. We had a vote; I saw the results and understood the message from the members. There has been an evolving culture of lackadaisical management as well as whitewashing of the egregious financial mismanagement with losses charged to the members with another assessment hike. Many of you still work, some off the mountain. You endure the nightmarish commute and what seems like weekly closures of the 5 freeway so you may raise your families here. (Read More)
Worrying about paying your assessments which seem to be raised yearly should not be added to your worries. We are not all blessed with generational wealth or come from the American Riviera, the land of trust fund babies. I am against funding the clubhouse and will not vote to continue to throw money down the rabbit hole of someone’s vanity project. With the help of the other members, we will hold department managers accountable as they would be in any private sector of for-profit entities, just like most of you who are held accountable in your jobs.

Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation, with advanced knowledge and expertise in property and casualty insurance and risk management.
Work Experience:
Thirty years' experience in the insurance industry. I was a litigation case manager, reviewing litigated files, assessing cases, reviewing facts, attorney bills, and attended court and court mandated mediations.
Volunteer Work:
I raised my two children in PMC and volunteered at their local start up school.
I was on the Southern Kern Search and Rescue Team for fifteen years, holding several positions including Captain which required financial management, deploying teams, overseeing search activities, and actively participating in searches.
I served two three-year terms on the PMC BOD. My tenure ended in June 2018.
